1. Provenance Researcher, Job, Emden, Germany

The Kunsthalle, Emden, is looking for a provenance researcher focusing on particular collections to clarify their pre-1945 provenance. This is initially a 1 year position for someone with a Master’s degree and some museum experience. Must have good German and English.

2. Rose Valland: Monuments Woman, Résistance und Restitution, Conference, Berlin

This conference will focus on Monuments Woman Rose Valland’s work after the 1940 occupation of Paris. The Conference will be in German.

3. Art & Law COVID-19 Roundtable, Webinar

“Are you an artist who has been impacted professionally or personally by COVID-19? What kinds of legal questions have arisen for you as a result?” Four arts attorneys will be hosting a round table for those in the arts who are affected by the pandemic.

4. Tax Evasion or Avoidance and Tax Havens, from the Nineteenth Century to the Present Day, Call for Papers, Lausanne, Switzerland

This conference focuses on the history of tax evasion over a long spand of time and includes consideration of, for example, free ports which touches on art crime related topics. Contributions in English or French
