Presentation for the Society for American Archaeology
The Trafficking Culture team hosted a symposium called “Trafficking in Cultural Objects” at the Society for American Archaeology Meeting in Austin, Texas this weekend. I chaired the session which also featured an amazing paper by the Cultural Heritage folks at University of Pennsylvania. There was a good turn out, good questions, and a warm welcome from the 4000 archaeologists there who, I suspect, were a bit surprised to see criminologists, lawyers, and weirdos (me) speaking.
Below is the presentation given by myself and my co-author Greg Lee. Severely shortened to fit into our 15 minute time slot and with no note for you all. Sorry! We are working on the actual journal paper now and it should exist for reading someday.
