Interesting things are happening in the world of cultural property research and policy
These past two weeks have been brutal. I travel a lot but not usually in the middle of a tornado. I tend to get to a place and stay there: settle in and work a bit. from 17 June until 30 June however, everything in the antiquities trafficking/art crime realm came to a head, event wise. I went to a lot of it as well as some museums in spare moment. Half ‘rock-n-roll’ lifestyle, half ‘I’m really tired’. Actually mostly ‘I’m really tired’.
Academia is 90% desk-work and 10% mania.
I should probably reflect more on some of these events in this blog but see above, I can do that later. For now, dear readers, this is what’s been going on with me. My agenda for the past 2 weeks.
